Is the tour to the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone dangerous?

The tour is not more dangerous, than visiting many other places in the world. An experienced guide will not lead you to places where the radiation level is high. During a one-day  tour you will get radiation even less, then 2 micro Sieverts. Most probably you will get more radiation during your two- hours flight at the altitude 8-10 km.

What kind of clothes do I need to use during my visiting the Chernobyl Zone?

You need not any special dress or uniform. Your wear must has long sleeves. Shorts and open- type shoe ware are prohibited.

Do I need booking the tour in advance?

Yes. Please, apply 14 day beforehand at least.  It takes two weeks for your application to be approved and processed by official authorities. There is limit of visitors those can enter the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone on a given day as well.

Do I need to make prepayments?

No. Please, pay during the beginning of the tour.

What should I do if, for some reason, I can not go on tour?

Please tell us about this the sooner, the better. We will be very grateful to you for this.

Do I need a visa to visit the Ukraine?

Not. The citizens of other countries do not need a visa for a stay up to 90 days.

Where does the journey to the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone start?

At any convenient point in Kiev for you at no additional cost.

Can I rely upon the guide?

Yes. Our guide conducted more, than 200 tours into Chernobyl Zone. He accompanied more, than 2000 visitors during two years. He is authorized state envoy, passed special examinations and has all state- issued papers.
